Sephora lured me into their Prudential Mall store last evening via the combination of their $15 e-coupon and my Beauty Insider birthday gift. I have been looking for a new lightweight daily moisturizer, so this was the perfect opportunity to pop in.
I inquired with one of the beauty specialists on the floor, told her that I have somewhat sensitive skin, and that I am looking for a daily moisturizer that will not clog my pores or leave a shine. She smiled, said she has the perfect product, led me over to the Skyn Iceland line, and introduced me to the ANTIDOTE Quenching Daily Lotion. She pumped a sample onto my hand, and explained how this lightweight hydrating lotion helps to decongest stressed skin, won't leave me feeling greasy, and the cooling sensation when it's applied feels refreshing.
When I got home, I read the box, and chuckled, because lately this is the synopsis of my over-stressed life:
TOO MUCH COFFEE. NOT ENOUGH WATER. SKIN IS TOTALLY PARCHED ... TOO MUCH WORK. NOT ENOUGH TIME FOR MYSELF. COMPLEXION LOOKS AS DULL AS I FEEL... ON A TIGHT DEADLINE. FORGOT TO BREATHE. SKIN'S SUFFOCATING... THREE LATE NIGHTS IN A ROW. NO ENERGY. IT'S SHOWING ON MY FACE ... LUNCH AT MY DESK AGAIN. COURSE ONE: PRETZELS. COURSE TWO: CANDY. SKIN NEEDS NOURISHMENT.
I will be sure to let you know if I fell victim to some creative on package marketing, or if this stuff really works!
