We are headed up to Montreal for the long weekend and we are so excited to gorge ourselves on French
fare, hit the town, and soak up all the city has to offer. Stay tuned for my photoblogging of the city and our wild n' crazy adventures!
I just discovered the best leave-in conditioner and thought I would share. Healthy Sexy Hair Soy Tri-Wheat Leave In Conditioner smells fantastic, helps work through those post-shower snarls, and leaves your hair silky smooth; plus it comes in an uber cool bottle. I just love it.

That's it, I am banning myself from Hayden Harnett (though I can't quite get myself to
unsubscribe from their e-newsletters!). I just purchased this cute summer Montauk Canvas & Jute Hobo from their preview sale for just $55 (down from $138) over the weekend, and it just arrived. I love it. I chose navy, or "marine" as they call it, and they seem to have sold out of the color so I had to show you "natural". I have never owned a navy bag; how nautical of me.
So yes, I have recognized and admitted to the HH addiction (I think I have 4 bags now, eek!) and I have facilitated my own intervention. No more HH. At least for 6 months or so... I think ;)

We went to Eastern Standard the other night to celebrate one of my company's founders' birthday, and I knew they were known for their cocktails, but OMG are they amazing! The list is endless, and somewhat cryptic like:
Hanky Panky
This one's for Jane Doe
Aviation
Fasten your seat belts
I guess you can make some assumptions as to what the ingredients may be from the section headers like "Standards", "Infusion", "Heritage", etc. but it kind of forces you to either drive your waitress mad by requesting a recipe each time you order, or just take a bit of a risk. I tried the Au Provence, a gimlet of tarragon and lime, and it was delicious, and then I tried the Old Cuban, an evocative mix of rum, lime, mint and bubbles. This is by far my favorite drink, like ever. But then again, there's a hundred others on the menu to sample still!
I have yet to try the food, however I loved the cocktails so much that I proposed Eastern Standard for a get together this weekend with past-life colleagues. Yes, that's twice in one week. It's that good.
