Stella is Expanding!

I was chatting with Michael, the bar manager at Stella, last evening at a cocktail party and he informed me that Stella is expanding & construction is already underway! They have acquired the space next to the restaurant and are adding a new bar, a fireplace (perfect for the ensuing winter months), and a cafe that will open at 5AM, featuring Italian coffees & pastries. Additionally, the Fall menu should be making its debut in a week or 2.

So happy I found your blog... I'm a South End gal/blogger as well. The Stella expansion should be in effect in the next month or so. They'll also feature some great prepared menu options (pastas and stuff). And one of the owners, Harry, will be running the show. He's awesome.
